Stash busting scrappy quilt!!! Everyone will bring a bag of scraps, sort of a “Scrappy Pot Luck” and we will dive into the highly addictive string quilt method. We’ll explore both the paper and fabric foundations methods. String quilts have been around since the mid 20th Century as an economical way to use up small bits of fabric. While often overlooked in the past, string quilts are now appreciated for their historical significance, sustainability, and contemporary artistic potential in modern quilting. Finished size 48 x 48.
